Below is a comprehensive list of all the images that can be entered into a NAPro score. While most of these images are accessed through buttons on the Variable toolbar, some can only be entered by typing the command into the Command textfield in the top-left corner of the score window.

- As well, graphical time signatures and numbers can be created using commands such as: "4/4", "6/8", "2/4+3/8", and even irrational time signatures us as "6/10" or "4/5". Key signature groups can be added with the commands: "k" followed by the name of the key such as "ke" (E major = 4 sharps) "kdb" (Db major = 5 flats) or with naturals for cancelation key signatures such as "kne" (4 naturals) or kndb"(5 naturals).

Playback Controls

A number of specialized commands can be added to your score to affect playback. These can be used to engage or disengage the Sustain Pedal, change patches (instruments) or send specific MIDI controller or key switch data during playback. Normally these markers are not printed when your score is printed.
